Ok, sorry I didn't post yesterday. Now that I am officially one third of the way through the project (eek!) I am apparently becoming lax and cavalier, and forgetting. Anyway, to make up for it here are TWO photos (I love this new polaroid app, it's amazing), one taken in the wee hours of December 20th, and one taken at my fun, but cold, book group anniversary brunch.

Everyone who lives in New York should go see the cut-paper show at The Museum of Art and Design - it's AMAZING. Also, in the stairwell between the 4th and 3rd floors is one of the nicest paintings/installations I've seen in a long time.

Count-down to mom. This afternoon, crossing the street with an alumnus who was telling me about how pastrami sandwiches made his hands shake like a heroin addict, I saw a hawk carry off a pigeon from the top ledge of the Carl Fischer building. There was another pigeon sitting right next to this scene, and it barely flinched.
