Happy Birthday to my darling cousin Miles! This photo was supposed to be accompanied with an adorable homage to Maru, but I couldn't figure out how to get iMovie to let me import the movie. Does anyone know how? I've done it once before (for the monster in the snow-boots box movie) but I can't figure it out. And I have a twitchy eye. I think I'm sleepy.

I fell down on the street on some ice today and it was less than awesome. But I am starting a color-work tam which makes up for it. Above is the photo of the day, below the added bonus (or "I can't believe it" photo to be more precise). Leggings PAINTED to look like jeans. I kid you not. These were leggings. They went up the stairs in front of me. Leggings. Painted. To look like jeans.



P.S. Looking at the preview of this now I see that these photos are vaguely related and that is kind of amazing to me.

This is my first snow day ever. Even when I was at Bard I don't think we had a snow day where everything was canceled, maybe a class here or there because of big snow, but there always seemed to be one professor who lived on campus and was able to make it in for class. I found out this morning around 7:40, well before the real snow and accumulation had started. This pictures from about 10:45 - after a delightful lie-in with Miss Harriet - still before the big snow kicked in. It's still snowing now - yippee!
