Blog completion date! Which makes me a little sad, we'll see what happens with future blogging projects. (And, while I didn't technically take this picture, it felt funny not to end with a crazy-eyed horse and me in a blue hat.)
Tomorrow I go to Iceland! So, there's going to be a mini-hiatus here, coinciding with the actual official "end" of this blog. I'm going to post pictures of the final four days of the last year of my twenties when I'm back and - gasp - thirty. Stay tuned or maradjon velünk - ha, I'm totally finishing these posts in Icelandic from now on.
Spa-zombie of the highest order. (Also: after the spa we saw a little fluffy white mini-poodle that only walked ON ITS HIND LEGS! It hopped along with its man while on a leash and then hopped up the stairs all on its back legs. It was hilarious, moderately creepy, and fascinatingly weird.)
I would have had a picture of Nina Garcia, fashion editor for Marie Claire magazine (imagine me saying this in Heidi Klum's voice) but my phone bit it just as she arrived. Instead I give you Lindsey with sardines.
This post goes out to Jess and Adam who are currently living it up in Sydney. Motorino misses you and is bringing their a-game with aged mozzarella, basil and heirloom tomato pizza in the hopes of luring you back to the states as soon as possible.
Starn Brothers! On the roof of the Met! It kind of seems like the Met is trying to get a warm-up vibe going with their Friday night rooftop happenings, and it might actually be working: there were lots of young hipsters on the roof drinking Brooklyn Brewery Summer Ale and wearing hip sunglasses. AND I got awesome Byzantine earrings at the met shop for a ridiculously inexpensive price (since I ran out of the house after napping without remembering to put mine on).
