Today I saw this public installation by Antony Gormley (complete with closeup so you can see why I was so startled). I had read about it on Gothamist so I got over the startle pretty quick. But still. What if you HADN'T read about it?

Everyone should go to the Ziegfeld theater at least once in their life. It's probably the biggest movie theater I've ever been in! I asked: there are 1,196 seats! Eek!

I had a whole other nice picture of this beautiful broken safety glass. But my stupid camera's battery is totally dead and I must post now or never! Maybe I'll go back in and replace this lovely shot of my goof-ball cat with one of broken glass...
