Chicken pot-pie. While this picture looks vaguely gross, the pie was wonderfully delicious. CSA cooking is so much fun! (Side note: I am going to try to be more serious again about this - for the first three months I took my REAL camera everywhere with me to take pictures. Lately I've been using my phone, which takes okay pictures, but they're not great. I miss a lot of nice low-light options because of my phone, so stay tuned!)

Roasted vegetables. Made a film about a cat in a box. (P.S. This photo is from this kind of cool installation in front of my new building at work. If you're in New York, and in the East Village, it's fun to see, but don't make a special trip. It's called "Trailer Park" and it's a small metal trailer with a city park built inside of it. Little benches, bricks, leaf and pine-needle piles, it's kind of cool. Apparently it's supposed to have flower smell pumped into it (ew) but this fortunately wasn't working when I went in.)

I can't recommend this film highly enough: Fish Tank It's playing at IFC and everyone should go see it. I have a soft spot for Andrea Arnold, and have for a long time. This only softens the spot (ew?).

Must post quickly! Before I turn into a pumpkin! Well it didn't work (I'd hoped to post before the strike of midnight and make this post in the correct day for once). Anyway, I'm sick, I stayed at home almost all day, and then made cheesecake brownies to take to the Golden Globes party which was very fun.
